More Than Just Barre:
As a Certified Personal Trainer, Barre Instructor and Functional Movement Specialist, I wanted to create a next level Barre program that combines barre exercises and strength training. This type of workout targets specific muscles for strength building and also incorporates the lengthening and sculpting exercises of a traditional barre class.
This program is perfect for anyone that loves traditional barre style classes but is also interested in increasing strength and tone in the body through weight lifting.
I created this new circuit style class format as part of a program to help slowly and safely increase physical strength. Strength gains do not happen over night - this 12 week program is divided into 3 levels to allow consistent steady and safe progress. Each level is intended to be 4 weeks long.
Level 1 workouts provides foundational exercises to kick off your strength building journey. Level 1 includes 4 strength building 30 minute workouts, a stretching/mobility class, 40 Minute Barre HIIT, and a core and breathwork tutorial.
